Welcome to Quinns Football Club

The club was founded in 1993 by Steve Hallam, Howard Crump, Steve Reely and Paul Hollins, kicking a ball around at what was to become Abbeville, Mindarie. There was a loose affiliation between Joondalup City Junior Soccer Club and the then Joondalup City Soccer Club that went on to become ECU Joondalup. However JCJSC was always an independant associated body, as it still is today and known as Quinns FC or simply “The Jacks”. 1994 registration brought in 160 youngsters from the rapidly expanding surrounding suburbs, and the home ground was established at Gumblossom Park, Quinns Rocks. The 1995 registration day at Lakeside Shopping Centre saw 280 budding players, aged between 5 and 16, sign up for the expanding club. This enabled 10 under 8 teams and 14 JSA teams to compete that season.

JCJSC became the largest and one of the most successful clubs in the state within 2 years. As with JCSC we were known as “The Jacks” and adopted this nickname as the official club name, until 2008, as the representative shire boundaries changed and “The Jacks” are now represented by Wanneroo shire. Since 2008 the club official name has been Quinns Football Club with “The Jacks” reverting back to the status of nickname.
